PBB, one of the country's fast-growing
savings banks, continues to pursue its
branch-banking development as it opens
on December 19, 2011 its 64th and 65th
branches in Antipolo City and Malabon.
PBB President Rolando Avante said these
are full-service branches , following
the recent opening of the 61st, 62nd and
63rd branches in Olongapo City, Laoag
City and the Madrigal Business Center
in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
He said fifteen (15) more branches are
in the pipeline and are expected to operate
in the early quarter of the next year
to bring the total of the PBB branch network
to eighty (80).
According to Avante, this aggressive branch
expansion is in line with the approval
by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP),
which has authorized PBB as one of the
seven (7) banks it has recently allowed
to put up branches in eight (8) “restricted
areas” of Metro Manila namely Makati,
Mandaluyong, Manila, Parañaque,
Pasay, Pasig, Quezon and San Juan.
